This is the guy who made his over $3 billion dollar fortune in real estate-that makes his word practically law if you ask me! Not only does Trump believe now is the best time to buy, so does the National Association of Realtors and virtually every economist. Why? Home prices are so low these days that a better deal on your dream home is going to be impossible to find. You can find properties at 50% to 80% below their values just a few years ago and who in their right mind would turn down a deal like that?

Fact is, this isn't going to last forever. The February numbers are in and although home prices fell, they did not set a record for the first time in 25 months. That means that the fall is slowing, a possible indicator that home prices are finally starting to bottom out. Once they bottom out, there is nowhere for prices to go but up. Obviously that is very good news for sellers but not so much for buyers looking for the best prices possible. In addition to the current rock-bottom home prices, buyers right now have the opportunity to take advantage of the $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit. The government will give you up to a $8,000 non-repayable tax credit just for purchasing a home before December 1^st of this year-does it get any better than that?
