Memorial Day Ceremony - May 25, 2009

The City of Coconut Creek and the American Legion Post 170 invite you to join us on Memorial Day to remember those who gave their lives to protect our freedom. The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at Veterans Park, 3550 Lyons Road (southeast corner of Lyons Road and Sample Road) at 10am. Hosted by the American Legion Post 170, there will be several dignitaries and guest speakers as well as a demonstration by the Coconut Creek Police Department. Refreshments will be served. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Coconut Creek Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Blvd. For more information, call 954-545-6670.

Antique and Collectible Show - May 30, 2009

C&C Antiques present the Coconut Creek Antiques and Collectible Show on 5/30/2009 from 8am to 3pm at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd. If you love jewelry, furniture, glassware, books, toys, postcards and coins...want to add to your collection of sports memorabilia, tools, and records...or just love stuff with character and history, this is the place for you! If you have an item that you have been wondering, "How much is this worth?", then bring it by between 10am and 2pm and for just $3 per item, you can find out from Appraiser Leo Melanson. If you would like to authenticate a signature, Michael Frost of Professional Autograph Services, will be available to provide autograph authentication for a fee of $6 for verbal and $40 for written authentication. Admission and parking are free for this event.
